On-site there are nice walks around the grounds, with a lake, picnic benches and loads of wildlife; we leave feeders out for the birds and we guarantee you’ll see plenty!


Within walking distance, we have an award-winning Fish & Chip Shop known for being probably the “LAST” coal-fired frying range, still operational in the country using coal and beef dripping which is definitely worth a visit! – Only open Fridays/Saturdays!

There is also a pub – The Rose & Crown which holds regular events, and a small village shop which stocks all the basics as well as fresh cakes and savoury treats!


We are a 10-minute drive from the Town of Gainsborough, known for the Historic Gainsborough Old Hall, Marshall’s Yard which features over 30 fantastic stores, including an Italian restaurant, coffee shops and a landscaped plaza!

We are a 30-minute drive from the city of Lincoln which is known for its Cathedral, and historic buildings, or if you fancy a day at the coast we’re a 1hr 20min drive from Skegness!
